A quick update on our expenses and Patreon memberships. Also, welcoming @Louis as a contributor to the Particracy Journal (this newsletter).
Just a reminder that Patreon memberships and donations do not impact gameplay.
Entering November, here’s our status:
2026 - US $124 (100%)
2027 - $93 (75% there)

OpenAI credits remain at $7.95 (we are totally fine).
Membership tears on Patreon will most likely be updated. The Golden Age of Particracy and Banana Welfare tiers will be removed, and we’re going to switch to 2 or 3 mini-tiers of $1 / $3 / $5.
The idea is to allow the community to spread the weight of support from just a few, without straining members between wanting to support and their means. And also tone down the aggressiveness of expense management, since we’ve pretty much almost covered 2 years - so, makes sense to switch to a long-term plan.
Louis and me will eventually take a look and lock the tiers - community feedback is, of course, always welcome.
