Quick context
2 things. First, I’ve been aiming for a mobile-native experience. Second, there’s been difficulty in trying to find things on the current site.
Features on the new navigation
Moods
Blue for journalism. Yellow for governance. Purple for diplomacy.
The navigation for journalism let’s you quickly access the journal (former Terran Times) and the feed. Governance leads to portals and your slots. Diplomacy to maps and digests - the latter you’ve already been “enjoying” on Discord.
So:
Journalism => Journal & feed
Governance => Portals
Diplomacy => Maps & digests
All moods have 2 sticky items: the library and the docket.
Pick and switch
On the governance mood, clicking the central home icon will expand a list of your primary and secondary slots. If you only have one, it will directly take you to that nation portal, instead. If you have none, it will lead you to the requests page.
The final icon let’s you quickly swap between moods.
Notifications
You’re probably wondering about the little red dots above some of the icons. Yes, they’re notifications for unread things.
